  • Interview Tips
Maintaining high professionalism during interviews is vital. Interviews are like anything else in life once you understand ways to deal with them. It just needs practice like any other thing you learn and acquire. You are not bad if you fail the first interview, it just means that you don’t have enough practise!

    Presentation
What you wear matters, but it is not everything! Your overall presentation during an interview is very important; ironically, first impression is the best impression in most cases! Formal clothes are the best for interviews. Eye contact, shake hands and other body language techniques are other vital factors. Groom yourself in terms of bodu language before an interview, it may sound tacky but it pays off! Always be polite not just during the interview but to any one you may have contact with in the office or work environment.

    Punctuality
Make sure you are on time or even a few minutes early to your interview. Write down the address, concerned phone numbers and carry it with you while you are attending the interview. Put in a few calls to know hoe to get there prior to the interview, no harm! If you are going to be late or unable to attend for any unforeseeable reason call ahead and let them know. This will show them that you are serious and that you take your commitments seriously.

    Preparation
Know the company you are going to work for. You don’t have to know them in and out as interviewers are not going to look for that mostly but it is essential to know what the company deals with and a little bit of their history. You must be prepared to discuss the industry, the company's relative size within that industry and show that you know who the major players and competitors are.
